“If I only had one word to describe Morino Lodge, it would be ‘ AWESOME.’ The people are amazing, the food to die for and the snow a dream. We spent 10 days in Japan and the guys and girls at Morino helped to make them the most enjoyable days we’ve ever had. All of the crew made sure that we were well looked after for everything – ski hire, lift tickets, places to visit and things to eat. They helped us with airport transfers and accommodation in Tokyo as well as where to ski to get the best powder stashes – the best powder we’ve ever skied! People hear of the almost mythical powder in Japan but I can attest it’s no fairytale – it’s up to your thighs and light as a feather. Do yourself a favour and book in now, you won’t be disappointed.”

The management and staff all contribute to a friendly and comfortable stay in one of Japan’s must-visit powder destinations. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the Morino Lodge team, whether its shuttling a group to the supermarket, onsen or bus terminal, making restaurant reservations, brewing the morning espresso, translating Japanese or simply providing daily advice on ski slope and weather prospects. We certainly would have no reservations recommending Morino Lodge to fellow travellers.”

“Craig Matt and Jen are terrific hosts that makes the stay at Morino Lodge really special. We received an extremely warm welcome back, considering our party consisted of 8 children plus adults! The rooms, lounge areas, meals and access to a kitchen make all arrangements very easy. The location in Wadano is easy to reach ski-hire, onsens, bus pick-ups, bars and restaurants but within the confines of a beautiful Japanese village.
